TERRO® Outdoor Ant Baits
Put an end to large-scale infestations with these TERRO® Outdoor liquid ant baits. Their pre-filled, ready-to-use design is convenient and easy to install around your home or yard where ants have been observed. Each station contains 1 ounce of liquid formula, ensuring foraging worker ants share the bait with the entire colony, letting you exterminate the problem at the source.

How it Works
Unlike contact killers, which only target visible worker ants on your property, these baits include slow-acting ingredients that have a delayed effect on the ant's digestive system. This deliberate kill method lets the foragers feed and return to the colony where they can spread the bait to the young and queen, eliminating the outdoor population before it can enter your home. During this time, the number of ants may increase as they swarm to feed on the sweetened liquid before they begin disappearing altogether.
Effortless Installation
The patented bait stations feature a foil seal that prevents the liquid from drying prior to placement. This prefilled design lets you prepare the bait and fill the internal reservoir in seconds by simply pushing the cup down and giving it a quarter turn, which punctures the foil. Ants access the bait through holes at the top of the ramps. Created for flexibility, these bait stations can be set flat inside garages, sheds, and deck spaces or outdoor grass or gravel-covered locations.

We recommend leaving the TERRO® Outdoor Liquid Ant Baits out for as long as you continue to see ant activity. It is important to allow the foraging ants enough time to carry the bait back to the colony to eliminate it at the source. Replace the baits if they become empty or dry out.
Thank you.
While the baits are designed for outdoor use, if they get wet from rain, the effectiveness may be reduced. Water can dilute the bait, making it less attractive or effective for ants. To maximize the product's efficiency, we recommend placing the baits in sheltered areas.
Thank you.
When using the outdoor liquid ant baits, we recommend avoiding direct exposure to rain or watering, as water could enter the bait station and dilute the liquid, reducing its effectiveness. We also advise keeping the bait protected from sprinklers for the same reason.

Puncture it and twist. Do I then need to pull it off and remove the foil once it’s drained into the bowl? Or leave the foil? Cause the illustration looks as if the foil has been removed. Which in my opinion makes sense cause it seems like it would be easier for the ants to get in and out with the foil off. So if I could please have some more concise instructions emailed to me. Or better yet a video would be amazing. Just something that takes out the question and is more straightforward, specific and concise. Thank you so much I love your other traps. This is the first time I’m using this product and just want to make sure I’m giving it the best chance to work.
I’d like to share some specifications about this product:
Freezing temperatures – The bait does not freeze until -13°F. If it does freeze, it can be thawed and will still be effective as long as ants are attracted to it.
High temperatures – At temperatures between 120-130°F, the sugar may crystallize and harden due to extreme heat.
Shelf life – Liquid ant bait does not expire, and the active ingredient remains effective over time. However, the color may change to yellow, amber, or brown. As long as the bait remains in liquid form and is easy to pour, it will still work.
I hope this information is helpful. Let me know if you have any further questions!
Best regards
